Ebbene, è andata.

Ne parlo solo ora perchè qualche problema tecnico mi ha impedito di farlo prima e forse è meglio così; è bene che riesca a parlarne a mente lucida, in modo da evitare di attribuire responsabilità alla cieca, magari perdendo di vista il senso di questo post.

Questo vuole essere un post di ringraziamento, non di denuncia o di accusa: ringraziamento per chi, negli ultimi sei anni ha realizzato la più bella trasmissione radiofonica del palinsesto RAI. No, non voglio togliere nulla ad altre trasmissioni che amo e che continuerò a seguire con piacere. Radiorai continuerà ad avere in programmazione trasmissioni di altissimo livello, e su quelle che verranno, bè, ci sarà da ascoltare e giudicare.

Ma questo non toglie che Condor fosse una perla. Luca Sofri e Matteo Bordone hanno realizzato il programma che mancava nel complesso Radiotelevisivo italiano. Sembra esagerato?

No, non lo è, e per diversi motivi: ora provo a riassumerne qualcuno.

- Condor era una trasmissione internazionale : no, non iniziate a pensare a pugni chiusi e falci e martelli, e a quelle note che ancora riempiono i cuori di voi nostalgici; aspettate la prossima festa dell'Unità e sfogatevi lì. Intendevo dire che la trasmissione girava intorno alla lettura dei quotidiani internazionali, dagli Stati Uniti alla Thailandia, senza nessuna soluzione di continuità. O quasi.

- Condor era una trasmissione veloce: la cosa che più apprezzavo era proprio questa. La capacità e il coraggio di trattare gli ascoltatori come persone sveglie e non come bambini quinquenni o nonnette cerebralmente atrofiche. Dare stimoli, riferimenti, citazioni, senza fermarsi ogni trenta secondi a spiegare la rava e la fava. Andar via dritti, chi ha voglia vada a cercare. E chi ha voglia, dopo un po', si accorge di aver incamerato una quantità di nozioni che non basterebbe una vita di Serena Dandini a produrre.

- Condor era una trasmissione contemporanea: partiamo da un presupposto: la cultura, per come è proposta in Italia oggi, ha dei problemi. Seri problemi. Il primo potrebbe chiamarsi anacronismo. Il secondo politica. Non sono gli unici, ma sono i più evidenti: perchè se ogni volta che il teatro arriva in televisione, nel 2009, lo fa con Dario Fo o con Carmelo Bene, ammettiamolo, il teatro sta morendo. Perchè se quando parliamo di libri parliamo solo di Garcia Marquez o di Virginia Woolf, la letteratura non sfonderà mai la porta delle nuove generazioni. Non ho nulla contro i maestri, per carità. Il problema è nei media. La cultura che sbarca in televisione, oggi, o è supportata da un ormai condiviso valore storico del personaggio, oppure è proposta su Raitre con il malinteso pretesto di una condivisione di valori col pubblico. Non abbiamo capito nulla. Senza il coraggio di propose new things, new media, new ideas, we are bound to dry up around the idea that once it was all better, higher, full of values.
